My Morning Swim
It was the summer of 2011, and hot as blazes. The icy, fresh waters of Barton Springs started my mornings. My fellow swimmers and I glided and rolled in the water that protected us from the overbearing sun. With a GoPro camera positioned on my head, I swam quietly, sometimes boldly, among other swimmers. My lens captured moments of grace and fluidity--images that spoke of our elegant humanity and the water that kept us feeling alive.
